It is a Good Friday!

I did have to work a 9-5 shift today, whilst my husband had a day off. After I got home we were straight back out to M& S as his Mum told him about some bread that he had to try. I bought some of their fancy pants Hot Cross Buns, the traditional fruit ones. Then I saw Cloud Pancakes, which I have to try! I have some passionfruit jam thats just screaming to be put on something like that, so I am looking forward to trying those.

After M&S we popped further down the retail park to B&M to stock up on some snacks for later, then we went to Asda where we decided to treat ourselves to a new 4 slice toaster and kettle!! I just cannot contain my excitement, I am sure this is riveting stuff to read! The joys of being a total homebird, its the little things that make me happy.

Fish and homemade chips with mushy peas and some of the posh bread tonight. Although, I am watching the Great British Menu whilst writing this and its making my dinner look pants!!

1 more day to work tomorrow and then I am off for a whole week! Cannot chuffin' wait!!!
