Lazy Sunday
We have had a very lazy Sunday today. We slept in until 11:30am, which is not like us at all. I know the clocks changed last night but we also had quite a big night out for us! One of my team members at work retired yesterday, so when we closed at 5pm we all went out for a drink. Our quiet drinks after work turned into lots of cocktails and not getting home until 11pm. Considering the majority of us had been on our feet at work all day I don't think that's bad going! We even had a visit from our previous store manager on his way home too, it was lovely to see him again. Its going to be so different at work now without our friend there. I know its a cliché to say we are a work family, but we genuinely are all really close. We spend all day everyday with each other and know each other inside out.
After our extremely lazy morning we got up and ventured as far as Home Bargains in Clay Cross. That is as exciting as our day has gotten today. This afternoon we watched a couple of episodes of Silent Witness, then I put Mrs Doubtfire on. That was the first ever film I saw at the cinema in January 1993. I can still remember going with mum and dad.
What was the first film you went to the cinema to watch?
